Registered in 2012, Shambhavi Foundation brings together compassion and action to support stronger, healthier and more resilient communities.
Shambhavi Foundation was registered in 2012 with a simple belief: meaningful social change begins when people care enough to act — and when action is rooted in dignity, participation and responsibility.
At the heart of our journey is an initiative by IIT Delhi Alumni. It brings together people shaped by rigorous learning, problem-solving and professional experience with a shared desire to apply their knowledge, networks and capabilities to issues that matter in society.
The idea is simple: some of the brightest minds in our community can do more than build careers. They can help communities build better futures — by listening to lived realities, supporting practical solutions, strengthening institutions and encouraging the next generation.
Our work today is organised around WASH, climate and environmental action, women empowerment, and education. We are building the next chapter through collaboration with volunteers, institutions and partners, with a commitment to responsible use of resources and transparent impact reporting.

The initiative reflects a belief that education and professional excellence carry a responsibility to give back.
Rigorous learning helps us understand complex problems, question assumptions and look for solutions that are practical and responsible.
Expertise becomes valuable to society when it is translated into action that respects communities and responds to real needs.
We want today's knowledge, networks and experience to create opportunities that remain useful beyond a single intervention.
We see people first — not statistics. We approach communities with empathy and respect.
Support should strengthen agency, confidence and choice, never diminish them.
Good solutions are stronger when local voices help shape them.
We aim to communicate honestly, use resources thoughtfully and publish verified information.
Shambhavi Foundation begins its formal journey of social service.
Our work is structured around WASH, climate and environment, women empowerment, and education.
We aim to strengthen documentation, volunteer participation, institutional partnerships and transparent impact reporting.
